Watch out! We’re very passionate about our sports teams in the Merrimack Valley. Both UMASS Lowell and Merrimack College, Division One in college sports, have massive fan bases. Residents frequently attend games and follow these highly competitive teams. Many players were born and raised in the ‘Valley’ themselves!

The Merrimack Valley Conference is another competitive sports league in the area. There are 11 towns that represent the Conference, and each town is filled with undeniable pride. Attend a Friday night high school football game and feel the excitement and spark of the Merrimack Valley – it’s a must!

Get ready for adventure!

Do you enjoy unique outdoor adventures? You moved to the right place! The Valley allows for dynamic activities such as hiking, skiing, runs along the picturesque Merrimack River and much, much more! Bring the family for a dip in Stevens Pond in North Andover during the summer months (be sure to head back in the winter months for ice skating!) Enjoy breathtaking fall foliage walking the Winnekenni Castle trails in late September. Our seasons here are breathtaking, and each change of season brings fun new adventures. You’ll never be bored or forced to stay inside and watch TV – that’s a promise!
